Student of the month story
To begin my story Eric Espinoza has recently won student of the month which in his words is "not really that big of a deal" Although the student of the month reward program is about rewarding the students that have been recently exceptional in there studies as a student tat Bowie high school and as a person alone. Eric Espinoza has just last month won this amazing honor of being the student of the month on the announcements last month on March 30, 2017. We asked Eric Espinoza how he did it and all he said was " To be honest its all about turning in homework and projects in on time".
For the second paragraph i would like to explain the importance of this story. The student of the month program truly is a reward system that can give students a incentive to win so that this will increase there overall grades, character, and the behavior of all the students at Bowie High School, In my opinion I think Eric Espinoza winning the Student of the month is very important to this school because I think this had an influence on all of his friends to be a better student because of how he won student of the month, and if this continues this could mean that every one will improve because maybe next month it'll be some other person that will win and that persons friends will be influenced by that. Thats what I think the importance of the Student of the month Program.
Eric Espinoza a freshman at Bowie High School has recently won the student of the month. " I don't know I think I just get really good grades because I actually do the homework". Although eric wasn't very proud of himself for doing this. "Yeah I don't think it was that big of an accomplishment, although maybe the teachers will finally respect me for this". Said Eric Espinoza. Eric Espinoza's GPA is only a 3.4 although he does many other outside activities such as Tennis, Student Council, and is on the football team. "To me that is pretty impressive that he does all of that and still has that good of a GPA" Said the Assistant Principal. Eric explained how that he has so much going on he really doesn't hang out with friends on the weekends hes always at games or meetings. "yeah doing all this is pretty hard and sometimes its really hard when I get home to do the homework with my best effort although I always find a way to do good in my classes".
