AISD is currently looking for a new principal

This story is about how the Aisd is looking for a new principal for our high school, Bowie high school. The final decision will be made by the board of trustees, the screening for applications wanting the job is on February 8th. The board says they will most likely find a new principal by the end of the year.

Cheer leaders compete in nationals

This story is about how the Bowie cheerleaders go to compete for nationals and there experiences through the whole way. This is also an extremely big deal because of how even college cheerleaders come to this event to recruit possible candidates for being on there cheer leading squad. This event takes place February 10th in Florida.

Bowie students attend the Bowie science fair

This story is about the Bowie students who went the extra mile to do the work and complete the science fair. some of them went as far as going to compete in the Bowie science fair competition. To all of the students who attended the science fair knew that this was a huge deal because if they place in any of the ranks then that could most definitely go on your resume.

Football makes school history-

This image really impact me with the level of Care and awareness in others that occurs in this photo. The composition of this photo I would say is that it is probably balance. The lighting on this photo also seems to be very good and well balanced throughout the photo.


Day and life: English teacher


This image shows a lot about the experiences of a teacher and really puts you in the teachers shoes. This is all just by looking at it because they have a sense of simplicity in the photo that makes me think "what would it be like if i were there. Although the lighting in the image is very dark and very unbalanced though.

the first image shows a lot of emotion and also makes me think how long it took her to practice and preform in front of over 1000 people. I think the lighting is very good and the composition they used is simplicity which really makes me just focus my attention on the girl who is dancing and acting at the same time.
