Photo Manipulation and ethics
A. Some of the main points I learned through reading this website is that usually you can trust picture that is in the media. Although softwares such as adobe photoshop, becuase people can take any picture and manipulate it so that you believe in a lie about a picture. they showed many examples where people edited an photoshopped pictures on the media to make it mean a totally different thing.
B. News papers like New York Times and Washington post keep strict guidelines for editing and photo shooting because they want to keep a good reputation on telling and proposing news that is true and not a lie.
C. I think that editing pictures should only go to the point to where your making little changes and edits to make the picture look better.
D.
I think that this is completely unethical because they put a famous person on some random person holding a gun to make Sarah Palin look either bad or good for electoral vice president which completely changed the overall view of her.
E.
I think that this is the least unethical because all it does is changes her skin tone to look better and edits out her extra hairs that are on her forehead just to make her look a little better. nothing major was changed.
